[Development Support Case] Measures Against Delamination Issues in Flame Retardant Grades
By changing the molding conditions and the mold, we achieved zero defects! A case study on delamination defect countermeasures.
Delamination refers to a defect where the product appears to be visually perfect, but in reality, it has become hollow inside, resulting in a complete loss of physical properties. Moreover, this defect does not occur immediately after molding; it is a very concerning defect that arises several hours later. By changing the molding conditions and the mold, we were able to successfully eliminate the defect entirely. [Case Study] ■ Product: Inverter case (including main body, operation panel, etc.) ■ Material: Polyphenylene ether (PPE) Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
